What is 3G-324M ?
3G-324M is an umbrella standard for support of real-time multimedia services over a wireless circuit-switched network. This standard comprises several subprotocols that handle multiplexing and demultiplexing of speech, video, user, and control data (H.223) and in-band call control (H.245). Here is the scope of 3G-324M:

source : Wikipedia
H.223 Multiplexing and Demultiplexing
H.223 is a multiplexing and framing protocol for multimedia streams over fixed-rate channels. It is used by video phones to send their data over the PSTN. H223
Speech codecs
Under 3G-324M, the adaptive multi-rate (AMR) codec is the mandatory speech codec. AMR can operate at different rates between 12.2 and 4.75 kbps. It also supports comfort noise generation (CNG) and a discontinuous transmission (DTX) mode. The G.723.1 codec can also be used.
H.245 call control
H.245 is capable of conveying information needed for multimedia communication, such as encryption, flow control, jitter management, preference requests, as well as the opening and closing of logical channels used to carry media streams. It also defines separate send and receives capabilities and the means to send these details to other devices that support H.323.
H.263 video encoding
H.263 is a video codec standard originally designed as a low-bitrate compressed format for videoconferencing. It was designed for low bitrate communication, early drafts specified datarates less than 64 Kbits/s, however this limitation has now been removed. It is expected that the standard will be used for a wide range of bitrates, not just low bitrates applications.
Hi Guys,
I’ve got some guarana powder on Ebay. So firstly, let’s copy paste a clear description :
Guarana is a plant that grows in the Amazon. It is best known for its berries, which are used as an herbal supplement, usually marketed as a weight loss product or energy supplement. It is commonly used in soft drinks and energy beverages.
Does it looks like a drug my friends ?… IT IS ! I ate a spoon of this powder this morning, It is almost midnight and I’m still blogging ! I have worked twice faster and efficiently today and I’m still ready for a marathon !
I’m just still wondering if it’s healthy to take that everyday…
… I am back after 2 weeks of daily guarana absortion, I still alive ! I can’t say that I feel a hudge change but the result is quite good. It is really better to take it in the morning on an empty stomach, then you won’t feel sleepy and your concentration will be improved.
I have also tryied it before a phisical activity, it’s not really necessary. One time I felt an increase of my heart rate.
As a conclusion, I’m still eating guarana powder but I prefer to have a nice and hot cofee in the morning
I take guarana at around 5 or 6 pm if I know that the night will be long and it really helps to keep me efficient !

The Vision VoiceXML Server from NMS communications is a distributed call control and VoiceXML based media processing platform that enables interactive voice and video response (IVVR/IVR) applications, such as speech-enabled voice and video interactive solutions, voice and video messaging, and inter-active mobile and IP-based entertainment.
The Vision VoiceXML Server is compliant with W3C VoiceXML 2.0 and 2.1 specifications as well as CCXML 1.0 and can be used to build VoiceXML and CCXML controlled applications for deployment in IP/SIP, TDM (SS7/ISDN), IMS and 3G (3G-324M) networks.
The Vision VoiceXML Server supports extensions for outbound dialing, caller authorization, and information collection for enhanced call controls within an interactive voice application. The system can also stream files from a remote HTTP server, with caching for improved performance and uses secure sockets (SSL) for enhanced security.
The Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) and Media Resource Control protocols (MRCP) are included to ease the development and deployment of automatic speech and text to speech services, supporting both voice as well as video applications.

I spent 4 months in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It was one of my greatest experiences. Shenzhen is a huge city: 9,000,000 people live there crowded into 35 floor buildings.
It is a kind of giant extension of Hong Kong. The main language is Chinese Mandarin but many people also speak Cantonese. It is the excellent place for massive consumption, there you will find an endless variety of asian restaurants and places to spend your money.
In Shenzhen, I worked for a company called FoodByWeb. I believe that you understand the activity of the company just by reading the name. It was a great experience, in this company and most of all during this period I got many skills abut the Free IPBX Asterisk.
During my free time I traveled to some places, I went to Shanghai, Guangdong and another city called Hangzhou, here are some pictures.
Hi Guys,
This post is dedicated to my week in Riga, Latvia. As everybody, you might think why I went to this cold and far country ?
This is the FreePhoneSpot project who led me to know this wonderful and diferent city. I spent a week in Dodohotel to work on the project’s VoIP server and client interface.
My dear associate, owner of the hotel, showed me the city and Riga’s people lifestyle.
My first surprise, by landing. What could I see ? A frozen sea and snow all over the “beach” ! With temperatures sometimes close to -20°C in winter, Latvia offers some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen.

Hi Guys !
Here is my first post about this project. So let’s make clear in a few points what is this new fantastic product about ?
FreePhoneSpot (FPS) is a FREE and public phone located in the lobby of most famous hotels. It allows people to keep in touch with their family or friends as they are travelling to the most exotic countries ! Once arrived at your favorite hotel :
- No need to look for a noisy telephone booth or a crapy international call shop lighted by a hospital glaucous neon.
- No need to find a 50 cents coin of the local understandable currency.
Just land, reach your hotel and use FPS to tell your friends about the fantastic weather and the wonderful beach that are waiting for you !
